Fault Finding

Another electrical find from last week during an electrical installation condition report on a property. The customer detailed issues with there dishwasher elements having to be replaced after a short period of time as well as there being low readings at the time of testing indicating issues within the installation.

Fault finding traced the issues down to this dishwasher plug top which has 2 main issues, one being neutral and earth wires have been reverse as well as the screw cap has damaged insulation within the plug top itself. Once this was found a new plug top was installed all included within the cost of the EICR report and a safe installation was restored.
